NINE months??!

Oh! I can't believe my baby is growing up! It just makes my heart hurt! Noah has officially been "out" as long as he was "in" and I can hardly believe it. Today he is nine months and it has flown by so quickly. Too quickly. Noah has been a source of pure joy to our family. There's just something about that little guys dimples and fuzzy, baby chick hair that makes you want to squeeze his little guts out!

For my own benefit...At nine months Noah sits, crawls, and is starting to pull up to things. Thankfully no signs of trying to walk yet (Drew and Addie were both walking about 2 weeks from now)! He's finally eating baby food without much resistance, but still won't take a bottle. He's in the process of cutting his 8th tooth (the 4th since we've been in London - yikes!) Like his siblings, teeth don't come easy. He's running fevers, has a constant snotty nose and is constipated and cranky. Joy. He loves his bed. When you put him down, he has a little ritual of cuddling in and wiggling his bum and legs til he's comfortable. He's napping pretty good at this point, often on the go and usually 2-3 times a day, but still is getting up at least twice, often 3-4 times per night. Fortunately he goes right back down after a snack or a little rubbing of his gums. I really think once he gets this tooth through he'll do much better. He still hasn't had a chance to settle in to a good night routine - first with the move and then the teething. We all hope better nights are coming soon - really soon. He continues to be the most laid back of the 3 - will play on his own for long stretches of time. He's been an absolute angel when we're out and about. I can only think of a couple of times that he's caused me any problem at all when I'm out navigating the city. Usually he just rides along taking in the sites or sleeps. What a great kid! I'm posting a picture of his balancing act. About half the time, rather than just sitting, he balances on his tailbone - feet off the ground and hands out doing a kind of jazz hands thing - crazy kid with abs of steel!

Anyway - we love the little man and can't imagine life without him.
