Space Derby...

Now that Drew is eight, he gets to go to Cub Scouts, and we started right into it with his first "Space Derby". Here's the rocket Drew built with a little help from his dad (or could it be...dad built with a little help from Drew?)... "Who's rocket is this?"Drew ended up getting 3rd - and was very proud of it - even though one of his propellers cracked when it hit the end of the track on his first run. The Pinewood Derby is in April and the boys (Wade and Drew) are busy making plans! I guess I better get used to it!

Nutella...mmmmm...

Noah is definitely the worst eater of all of my kids, and that's saying a lot! I honestly don't know how the kid survives on the few calories he takes in each day. I know every parent says that, but in Noah's case, it's for real! The one thing he will eat is Nutella. For awhile I could spread it on toast and he'd eat it, but then he just started to lick it off. Now he just likes to take it straight - brings me a spoon and asks "atella?". It's now to the point that I have to hide it in the pantry or there's no chance of him eating anything else. I think it's time to stop buying it all together! Anyway, I came upon this the other day - someone must have left it within reach - and had to take a picture of his little happiness before I ended his Nutella binge...
