Stairs, stairs, and more stairs...

Yesterday was a beautiful day, so we decided to take advantage and visit St. Paul's Cathedral and Tower of London. Of course, no visit to St. Paul's is complete without a climb up the 376 steps to see the views from the top! I was feeling pretty good after the first set to the "Whispering Gallery". Of course those steps weren't all that steep and my dad was carrying Noah. The second set up to the "Stone Gallery"...much steeper, narrow and winding...and of course me pregnant and carrying Noah this time...yikes! That combined with the half million (at least) stairs we carried Noah's stroller up and down all day (London isn't especially stroller friendly - especially the tube stations)...yeah, I'm feeling it this morning! So although the weather was perfect and the sites were amazing...pretty much my memories of yesterday are of how happy I was to see the couch when I got home! Anyway...here's some pics...

Addison retains her throne...

Looks like Addie's reining princess status will not be threatened as we have confirmed the next Allen is a BOY! I thought Addie would be disappointed, but nope. I think she's figured out that being the only girl will have it's benefits! Sorry - no ultrasound pics. I needed 3.50 cash to buy the pics...oops! We did get a great view of his little profile and he looked a lot like Noah to us. We'll see!

Mallorca...

Wade and I decided to burn a few Marriott points over the weekend. My parents are in town and offered to watch the kids for us for a couple of nights. Mallorca was the closest resort with the probability of sun, so we headed there! Here are the only two pictures from the trip...

Unless you want to see pictures of Wade and I sleeping, getting a massage, or eating...there's not much else to show! We spent the weekend doing as little as possible. We hadn't planned to do much other than soak up some sun by the pool, but it ended up raining most of the time we were there, so we just moved our lazy arses indoors. I would have preferred more sun, but it was fabulous! We thought about exploring the island, but we would have missed our nap...

Goodbye, Southfield...

The kids had their last day of British school on Friday. I have to say I'm a little sad - as are the kids. We've been so lucky to have a great experience with the school here. Drew and Addison learned a lot academically, but probably more about the world around them. I'm so thankful they've had this experience!
Here's Drew with his teacher Ms. Sugden and some of the other kids in his class...
and Addie with Ms. Baptiste, one of the teacher's aids, & her teacher Ms. "Gomery" (Montgomery)...
