I got so sick of hearing "NO" from my kids the other day, that I told them I'd give them a pence every time they said "yes, mommy". It's actually worked quite well, especially with Addison (yes, I'm as shocked as you). So the other day we were with my friend Anne, and she convinced Addie to put a "beautiful" in there. So now all day long I hear, "Yes, Beautiful Mommy"! Score! Of course the fact that I give her a two-pence every time she adds in the beautiful doesn't hurt!

Hampton Court Palace and Regents Park
I'm way behind on my blogging - so I'm resorting to dumb slideshows (click it to expand it into another window)! This one is of Hampton Court Palace and Regents Park. The first Monday in May is a bank holiday here - no school or work! So we headed out to Hampton Court Palace. It's origins date back to the 1200s - has a lot of history surrounding Henry VIII etc. and the gardens are stunning. Then, mid-week I went with my ward culture group to see the secret garden in Regents Park. It's really beautiful, but I thought Queen Anne's Garden in Regents Park was just as beautiful and will be AMAZING in a couple of weeks when the thousands of rose bushes start to bloom. Definitely a place to see if you're in London during rose season!
Bath & Bristol
A few weeks ago Wade was speaking at a conference in Bristol so we decided to make a day of it. We decided to stop in Bath on the way - such an amazing place! We only had about 2 hours to check it out, so we didn't have time to see much, just enough to know we'll be coming back! I took a ton of pictures so I've attached a slideshow that I sent out to the parents earlier (even though I hate to do the slideshow thing - can't see the pics as well!). I think if you clisk on the slide show, it will expand out so that you can actually see it!

Could it be??!!
Is it possible that one of my siblings has finally decided to join me on the other side and get hitched? It is! Yea! My kids may have cousins on the Nokleby side sometime in their lifetime after all! Matt and Amanda were engaged on Saturday and it looks like the wedding is slated for the end of July- just before they head for Houston where Matt will be starting his PhD in electrical engineering at Rice. So it looks like we'll be in the states (Utah) this summer after all. Congratulations to my little brother and his wife to be! And Amanda, My condolences on the number of times you'll have to spell your new last name over the course of your married life!
