We have a due date!

Because of the surprise nature of this next baby, we weren't really sure about a due date. I finally got an ultrasound yesterday and am due August 6th - which puts me at almost 14 weeks. So, happy to report there really is a baby in there and everything looks good! So here's a pic of the little one and even one of me already in maternity clothes!!!! Yikes! Now if I can just survive the NHS system until we head back to the states to have this kid! Be thankful all my stateside friends for your convenient, carefully selected OBGYN...My first appointment here took 5 hours and all they did was take some blood and my blood pressure. Hmmmm....

How much snow does it take to shut London down?

Apparently THIS much! The most snow London has seen in 18 years fell Sunday night and brought London to a complete halt. The bus and tube service was suspended, and when you do that around here, life stops. No school, no work (actually Wade being the die-hard that he is, drove into the office for a few hours)...it was fun! The best part was watching how excited everyone around here was. Most of the kids in the area have never seen snow like this. People were in the streets and parks throwing snowballs and making snowmen. And I have to say, the snow here is gorgeous...the light, fluffy type that comes down in big flat flakes. The town looked like a scene straight from "A Christmas Carol".
This is what it looked like when we went to bed...
And this is what we found when we woke up!
No school! So the kids bundled up to go to a friends house across the way. This was the only time I could get Drew to venture out in the snow. He doesn't like the cold!
Here's a few pics from outside our house...

Our back garden...so pretty!
When Wade came home from work, we decided to build a snowman in the back. Noah liked the snow as long as he didn't have to touch it or walk in it! He stayed pretty much in this exact spot the whole time...
Drew may not like the snow, but Addison LOVES it! She was having a blast!

All done! Addie named him "Tex" because he was wearing a cowboy hat...
