I've been so busy over the last few weeks preparing for our return to the states that I haven't done a good job of blogging about our move! We are now in the states! At least we're all her for now. Wade goes back to London for a month on Tuesday, but the kids and I are staying here in Utah with Wade's mom until we can get into a house back in Dallas.
So speaking of houses..we stopped in Dallas for a day on our way here to do a marathon house hunt - saw 15+ houses in about 4 hours - totally overwhelming!! Unfortunately, we didn't find anything quite right in the area of our old ward and schools. We did find the perfect house in an area called "Lantana" which is out another 10 minutes from where we were before. So now we're trying to decide if we want to go out there or wait and try to find something closer to our old digs. Argh...I hate these kind of decisions!!!
We did buy a car yesterday! Much easier decisions there. I'm the "proud" new owner of another minivan! Went with a Toyota Sienna again...even bought a brand new one! First new car I've ever had - well except for our VW in London, but I never really considered that mine. So I'm on my way back to suburban soccer-momdome once again!
Otherwise we're good. Enjoying being here with family. The kids are having a blast with their cousins and pretty much fall into bed each night (loving that!). I'm thoroughly enjoying drive-thru's, Target & big parking spaces..and the amazing warm weather we're having here! There's a lot we're going to miss about London, mostly friends of course, but the fun thing about moving every two years is that we have great friends all over the world!
